What's New for the 2020 Lexus NX?
Fresh out of the factory, the all-new 2020 Lexus NX is the Lexus company's newest car and their newest NX model vehicle to see action on the road. For the new year, this Lexus vehicle comes with some new driver safety features like bicyclist detection and lane centering assist. It also has more room in the backseat and a new Mark Levinson premium sound system.

Which Trims & Features are Available for 2020?
The 2020 NX is broken down into different trim levels, each with their own set of features and amenities. The Lexus NX comes in three different trims: the Base, F Sport, and Luxury trims. The Base is, as stated, the standard basic level and has the typical features of its name such as 17-inch alloy wheels, a chrome tailpipe, rack, and pinion steering, a chrome tip exhaust and a car spoiler.
The F Sport takes things up a notch and comes with more features like overdrive capabilities, a front anti-roll bar, 18-inch wheels, sports pedals, floor mats, and inter-cooled turbo. The Premier is the most advanced of all the levels and brings in new amenities like 18-inch alloy wheels, speed-sensitive steering, transmission electronic control, heated door mirrors, a power liftgate, and a rear lip spoiler
2020 Lexus NX Powertrain Options
The 2020 Lexus NX is built with an engine that can account for all of its driving and performance needs. The Lexus NX generally runs on a 6-speed shiftable automatic transmission with an all-wheel drive train and inline 4 cylinders to match it. The engine also boasts an impressive 235 horsepower rating and can muscle out 258 feet to pounds of torque. It takes premium unleaded fuel and can hold just under sixteen gallons of gasoline.
Safety Features in the Forefront for 2020
The Lexus NX has all of the safety features and security measures are taken to it to ensure that it stays a safe ride for all of the occupants. The first safety measure taken into account here is the inclusion of rear door child safety locks and special seat anchors for rear passengers. Beyond that, there are also special daytime running lights and an LED headlamp that increases total brightness when it's needed. The light system also contains dusk sensing headlamps that adjust readily to the time of day and brighten during the night.
The car also comes with an emergency brake assist feature and front and rear disc brakes to keep the brakes from drying out and taking unneeded damage early. A tire pressure monitoring system comes in handy for the purpose of keeping track of the tire status whenever a driver is one the road. For those looking at the more advanced trims, there is now a blind-spot warning system included giving more spatial awareness to drivers whenever they need to merge into lanes.
