What's New For The 2019 Lexus GS?

The 2019 Lexus GS doesn't have many changes. It's a re-release of an already-great car. The biggest change is a new optional feature. You can choose to have the Lexus Enform Remote installed, which can integrate with your Amazon Alexa or your smart watch. There haven't been any updates to the standard features or colors.

The GS line covers a number of different vehicles, from the GS F to the GS 350

The Lexus GS F comes in just a standard trim. It utilizes a V8 cylinder engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission. There's a huge amount of in-car entertainment options available.

You get satellite radio that updates you on traffic in real time, along with video monitoring of each side of the vehicle. You also get surround sound, 3 months of free satellite radio, a typical stereo, and volume control with speed sensitivities.

The GS F also has an auxiliary input control along with a USB connection to play external media. Additionally included is a DVD player. In total, there are 12 speakers.

The GS F has all the luxury and convenience features you could want in a car. Keyless ignition makes things easy, as does the adaptive cruise control. The mirrors have a turn signal. Your steering wheel has a leather covering, and you have a rear view camera to help when you're backing up.

The driver and passenger seats both have leather coverings and ventilated capacities. The driver seat is height adjustable, while both the passenger and driver seat have 8-way lumbar support. There are also multiple heating options for both the driver and passenger seats.

The GS 350 comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a V6 engine. It boasts many of the same features that come with the GS F.

2019 Lexus GS Horsepower

The Lexus GS 350 has a city fuel economy rating of 19 MPG, with 26 MPG on the highway. The fuel tank can hold 17.4 gallons, so you rarely need to stop to fill up. As for horsepower, the V6 engine gives you a whopping 311 horsepower and a torque of 280 lbs-ft. The GS 350 has a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The Lexus GS F comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission to provide even better acceleration. The combined MPG estimate is 19. This has an even more powerful engine than the 350, with a total horsepower of 467, along with a torque of 389 ft-lbs.

No matter which option you choose, the Lexus GS is one of the most powerful, streamlined, and luxurious vehicles on the market.

Lexus GS Safety

All Lexus GS models come with a comprehensive set of safety features. Your mirrors show your turn signal. You also have powerful fog lights and a pre-collision safety system, along with standard traction control. There are anchors for child seats.

Smart technology components are integrated into the GS design, like assistance with emergency braking, ventilated brakes, lane departure warnings, and blind spot warnings. You also get powerful LED headlamps that automatically turn on in dusk. If you choose the 4-wheel drive option, you get powerful braking systems that allow maximum control in inclement weather.
