2 Modified Cars at SEMA

Lexus recently debuted two new model cars at the November 2021 SEMA show in Las Vegas. Their first model created is a modified version of the IS500. It was created with the expertise of Hiraku Co. along with Townsend Bell, who is a Lexus ambassador. This 3D-printed body kit featured an updated front lip design along with new side panels, roof spoiler, and carbon fiber trunk design. The entire exterior is wrapped in a perfected vinyl coating. It definitely turned heads at SEMA, the leading automotive trade show in the U.S.

Under the hood of the IS500 is an A’PEXi induction box that is fitted with a TOMS Racing suction pipe designed with a carbon concept. There is also a quad-tip exhaust system with front and rear chassis braces from TOMS Racing as well. Thirty-two positional coil-overs are included as well as Brembo brakes and Rotiform LAS-R wheels (with aerodisc covers).

The second concept car at the 2021 SEMA show is an IS 350 F Sport that was created by racecar driver Scott Pruett and DSPORT Magazine. With sporty flared fenders on the exterior and an Artisan Spirits body kit, viewers were impressed. There’s also a carbon fiber rear wing, titanium mounts, and extensions on the side skirts. Matte-bronze wheels have been included on the Rotiform 20-inch wheels. Lexus planned on updating the powertrain of the IS 350 F Sport, but they were unable to secure all of the necessary supplies to make it happen this year. There are plans to have the project completed by 2022. Expect more than double the power of the current concept car.
