2022 GX Trims & Features
The 2022 Lexus GX is made in four trims. The base is the GX 460. With the base, trim comes many notable standard features inside and out. LED headlights illuminated the front end, while chrome accents added a polished look. The interior contains NuLuxe for seating material, and the front seats are 10-way adjustable. The middle-row seats fold and recline for comfort and additional storage, and the third row of seats folds flat. Dual-zone climate control and a purifying air filter are standard. Three-zone climate control is added to the higher-end trim levels. Heated and ventilated seats in front are available for the base trim and standard starting with the second trim, which also gets heated outboard second-row seating. Three-zone climate control comes with the second trim and the top trim levels. The third trim also switches over to semi-aniline leather material for the seats. A black headliner is available for most trims and is standard on the top trim level. The interior also has ash wood trim accents on the Black Line Special Edition. The top trim also has a black and gray seating material color scheme.
2022 Lexus GX Horsepower
A V8 engine with a 4.6L displacement powers the Lexus GX in 2022. The engine gives the Lexus tow ratings of 6,500 pounds when it has a tow hitch attached. The GX's engine provides slightly more than 300 HP and about 329 LB-FT of torque. The engine is matched to an automatic six-speed transmission, and the standard drivetrain for the SUV is four-wheel drive.
Lexus GX Safety
All trims of the GX get some of the same safety technology, including lane departure alert, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision mitigation. A surround-view camera is available on the Luxury and standard on the top trim.
