Arizona summers can be tough with the intense heat, especially for low-income families and seniors who might have to choose between paying their electric bill and buying food. That’s why all of us here at Superstition Springs Lexus feel pleased to help those in need through an exciting program called “Christmas in July.”
Put on by the United Food Bank, participating businesses compete with each other to see who can raise the most money and collect the most non-perishable food items. The ultimate goal is to stock the food bank’s shelves full of food in July.
To help them achieve this goal we will be accepting cases of water at our east Mesa Lexus dealership through the end of July. It’s just another opportunity for us to show the local community just how much we care.
Aside from donating water and non-perishable food items, you can also take part in this meaningful cause through cash donations. They don’t have to be large either. According to the event’s website, “Every $1 you give will help provide enough food for four meals to some of our community’s most vulnerable members."
