What's New For The 2019 Lexus UX?

The 2019 Lexus UX is the first crossover of its kind from Lexus. The SUV is an all-new model from Lexus. Not only is it stylish, it also features new technologies that are definitely class-competitive compared to other SUVs in the segment. It rides smoothly, is highly maneuverable and you get decent fuel economy. It comes packed with plenty of standard driver-assistant features which we've come to expect of vehicles in the luxury SUV segment. What makes the 2019 Lexus UX attractive is the price. Even with the other market leaders offering a variety of SUVs, there is nothing wrong with exploring new options.

What are the Available Trims and Features?

The 2019 Lexus UX is available in two trims. That is the UX 200 and the UX 250 which is a hybrid version of the vehicle. The Lexus comes with a standard 7-inch infotainment system. This is available in all of the trims. The infotainment unit uses the Lexus Touch Interface and comes with a 6-speaker audio system. You also get satellite radio, Apple Carplay, and Wi-fi hotspot.

The interior can comfortably seat 5 people and comes adorned with leatherette upholstery. There is plenty of head and leg room on both of the rows. You're able to seat 4 adults and a child in the Lexus UX without much trouble. The car has a full set of seat latches with seat connectors. The 2019 Lexus UX has a cargo space of 22 cubic feet. You can get a lot more space if you fold the rear seats. The cargo space makes the Lexus UX ideal for camping and fishing weekend getaways. You can carry the family and a lot of gear without having to worry about space.

Lexus UX Power & Performance

2019 Lexus UX Exterior FrontIt features a 169 HP four-cylinder which does a good job of handling power requirements for many while delivering decent fuel economy. Even though the seating position feels lower than most SUVs, the UX doesn't feel car-like when it comes to maneuvering. There is agility on twisty roads. This is further improved by the inclusion of Active Cornering Assist that is able to monitor the trajectory of the vehicle as it drives through curves and apply the appropriate amount of braking when needed.

There is a Drive Mode Select for the two trims. There is also a twistable knob which is meant to select the three options available.

2019 Lexus UX Safety Features
