The 2022 Fuel-Efficient Lexus Models
The 2022 Lexus models are environmentally friendly and will help increase the lifespan of your vehicles. Lexus specializes in luxury vehicles, and they are always on the cutting edge of technological advancements. And now, it looks like they have done it again. It was announced that Lexus had surpassed stringent new fuel-efficiency regulations without losing any power or speed. They did this by adapting their unique 8-speed transmission to be more responsive and replacing traditional combustion engines with hydrogen fuel cells in some models. This article will discuss some of these models.
1. The 2022 Lexus RX 350
The 2022 Lexus RX 350 is the first one to have a hydrogen fuel cell engine. The model will have 3,500 horsepower, 469 pound-feet of torque, and an estimated EPA-estimated rating of 220mpg on the highway. This means that it can accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour in just 5 seconds, thanks to its incredible power. It is fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly. It has amazing technology and safety features, such as a backup camera and hands-free phone. It also has a seven-passenger capacity, which is larger than its predecessors.
2. The 2022 Lexus RC F Coupe
This model will have 4,000 horsepower and 573 pound-feet of torque. It is electronically limited to 488 horsepower, which means that it still has the power to overtake almost any car in its class. It also has the same fuel cell engine as the RX 350 but with even more torque and horsepower due to wanting to keep its performance capabilities yet lowering its emissions. The car is only predicted to have an EPA estimated rating of 328 miles per gallon on the highway and will be available by 2021.
3. The 2022 Lexus ES 300h
The 2022 Lexus ES 300his the second model to have a fuel cell engine. It is based on the all-new E Series, which has a more aerodynamic look, with sweeping headlights and a slimmer body. It has an estimated EPA-estimated rating of 182mpg city and 128mpg highway, making it perfect for everyday driving around town with its 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that produces 50 miles per gallon of gas (according to the EPA in combined driving). Although this model is not as fast as the RX 350, it does have improved handling thanks to its suspension upgrades.
