The newest Lexus vehicle is out of this world—literally! The automaker partnered with the EuropaCorp company to develop a unique space craft for the highly anticipated sci-fi film “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.”
How was this partnership formed? The film’s director, Luc Besson, wanted to work with a forward-facing brand with a proven record “pioneering in innovation and technology.” Naturally, Lexus was the perfect fit, and design teams from both the automaker and the film set collaborated on creating a realistic yet imaginative intergalactic transporter. The result is SKYJET, which combines Lexus’ signature design cues with incredible technologies.
