?Lexus has officially confirmed that, after seven years of production, the CT 200h will be discontinued in the North American market after the 2017 model year. In just a short amount of time, the CT 200h won the hearts of luxury shoppers looking for sporty hybrid performance, versatile space and real-world efficiency, all wrapped up in a hot hatchback shape.
So, what’s taking the CT 200h’s place? According to many reputable sources, Lexus is currently working on bringing last year’s UX concept to fruition. This model is sure to blend everything buyers loved about the CT 200h—compact size, eye-catching style and hybrid efficiency—with the rising popularity of crossovers and SUVs. However, there is still no word on when a production-ready model will be introduced.
In the meantime, there’s no reason to say your teary goodbyes to the CT 200h just yet! The 2017 model is still available at our Mesa Lexus dealership for those who want to get their hands on one before it’s too late.
Offered in one well-equipped trim, the compact hatch features everything from dual-zone automatic climate control, an eight-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar and leatherette upholstery to Bluetooth connectivity, satellite radio, and keyless entry and ignition. On top of that, the hybrid offers impressive fuel economy, coming in at an EPA-estimated 42 mpg combined (43 city/40 highway).
