When it comes to full-size luxury sedans, the Lexus LS is already the cream of the crop. However, for 2018, the popular model is branching out, adding sport-tuned performance to its repertoire with the all-new available F-Sport package. The F-Sport package retunes the sedan’s new GA-L architecture, which offers superb handling and smoothness, and is the “stiffest in Lexus history” according to the automaker. The result is even sportier performance that driving enthusiasts are sure to fall in love with.
The package also adds larger front and rear brake calipers—6-piston and 4-piston, respectively—as well as 20-inch alloy wheels and staggered rims. For even more in the way of performance, buyers can opt for an additional Handling package, which adds an adjustable air suspension and four-wheel steering.
On top of these upgrades, the F-Sport also adds its own unique styling details, setting it apart from the rest of the lineup. On the exterior, the LS F-Sport receives a model-exclusive grille and Ultra White paint finish, as well as sporty side skirts, trunk moldings and fender badging.
Inside, the cabin features an F-Sport-themed steering wheel and driver information display, alongside new aluminum accents throughout the dashboard trim and accelerator and brake pedals. Comfort is also maximized on this model thanks to an upgraded driver’s seat with ultra-suede material.
Additionally, a special Circuit Red interior theme is made available through the package.
